Dear Readers,

Journeys Into the Enchanted Codex is a fully reimagined and greatly expanded version of my earlier novel Christos and the Dartmoor Giants. While the core adventure and cherished characters remain, this new edition offers a far richer, more immersive journey. With newly developed plotlines, deeper historical texture, expanded character arcs, and stronger mythological threads that echo throughout the evolving Book of Dumnonia series, this version is approximately 50% longer than the original.

Why the rewrite? As the series has grown, so too has my vision for its world, its mysteries, and its people. I wanted Journeys Into the Enchanted Codex to better reflect the depth, emotional complexity, and mythic resonance that have emerged across the wider tapestry of the series. This revised edition strengthens those connections, adding new dimensions and meaning without losing the heart of the original story.

That said, readers who enjoyed the earlier edition don’t need to revisit this one in order to continue with the series—but you may find new moments, revelations, and echoes that enrich your journey through the world of Dumnonia.
